Franco and Ciccio are serving at a Satyricon themed party when they are transported back in time to ancient Rome. Ciccio loves very much the novel Satyricon of Petronius Arbiter, although his friend Franco does not understand him. Ciccio also saw the famous Federico Fellini's film about the novel, and he goes with Franco in a country inn, near Rome. The director, seeing the success of the film by Fellini, does furnish the inn in the fashion of ancient Rome. Even the guests and the waiters are dressed to the ancient, and so do Franco and Ciccio, but they break a jar of wine and are hunted. The two fall asleep in a clearing, and wake up in the Rome of the Emperor Nero. Franco and Ciccio risk being killed, and so they're saved just by writer Petronius who hire them as servants. Petronius is the best adviser to Nero, who is scared because he believes that his mother Agrippina wants to kill him. Franco and Ciccio therefore must watch over the life of the emperor, but they soon discover that the killer who wants to murder Nero is not the mother. Satiricosissimo is a 1970 Italian comedy film directed by Mariano Laurenti. It is a parody of the 1969 Federico Fellini film Fellini Satyricon Franchi and Ingrassia play themselves as usual, off to wait tables at a Fellini's Satyricon themed party. Before you can say "don't drop that jug of wine", they 'wake up' way back B.C., still dressed in their little slave outfits. The real mystery here is why they didn't start the film in Roman times in the first place as the pop culture references are not just limited to the supposed time travelers. Still, some of the wittiest jokes involve street signs and sight gags: the first thing we see is a license plate on a cart and wagon. All roads lead to Rome (via footage borrowed from a much more expensive movie) and they immediately save Emperor Nero from food poisoning. Forced to join a spy origination that uses a secret slap in the face instead of a secret handshake, they are dressed as barbarians by their new boss, whom we shall refer to as 'M', and sent off to a tavern for more time misplacement jokes.

A recurring character created by Jack Handey and played by Phil Hartman on Saturday Night Live from 1991 through 1996. He was a caveman with the beetle brows of a neanderthal who had fallen into a glacial crevasse, or "Big Giant Hole in Ice", during the Ice Age, thus preserving his body well enough for scientists to thaw him out in 1988. He subsequently studied law at the Oklahoma City University School of Law. One hundred thousand years ago, a caveman was out hunting in the plains, when he slipped and fell into a crevasse, where he was frozen solid. In 1988, he was discovered by scientists and was thawed out. He then attended law school and became...The Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer! The scene would then be accompanied by a song, beginning "He used to be a caveman...," showing Keyrock in animal skins beating a club against his hand, "...but now he's a lawyer!" and showing Keyrock's clothes changing from animal skins to a suit, and his club replaced by hands gesturing to emphasize a point: "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer!"

An allegory about humankind progresses from a savage state to a civilized form, that is only a cover for its innate barbarism. A tribe of primitive "mudpeople" encounter a croquet ball, rolling through their forest. Following it, they find themselves on a vast, deserted Long Island estate. Entering, they begin to become civilized and assume the stereotypical roles and dress of people at a weekend party. There follows an allegory of upper-class behavior. At last, they begin to devolve toward their original status, and after a battle at croquet, they disappear into the woods.

In a post-apocalyptic world 200 years in the future, society has broken down into fragmented groups who now dwell within a tangled wood, completely unaware of any civilization that exists beyond and governed by the white-suited agents of some ominous force, which could perhaps be nothing more than a high-tech manifestation of their own guilt and suffering. In this world, a young man living in a decaying wreck of a dwelling struggles to come to terms with his bleak existence while trying to save his mother from the grip of a strange black fluid which seems to prolong life but at the same time leaves its users in a drug-like haze and causes scar-like tissue to cover their bodies. Scars of Youth follows in the tradition of classic European science fiction such as Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker and Solaris, while at the same time forging new ground in surrealistic fantasy film.
