In 1960, a military test pilot is caught in a time warp that propels him to the year 2024 where he finds a plague has sterilized the world's population. Experimental pilot testing a new rocket powered craft (actually a Convair F-102 interceptor) manages to fly into the future and land at the now deserted airbase he left. He ends up in a city with people who are suspicious he is a spy and who want to keep him to procreate with the rulers daughter because the majority of the inhabitants are sterile. He manages to escape and return to his own time but "with consequences".

Amanda has sent invitations to her birthday celebration on Mount Blocksberg. Unfortunately Barbara Blocksberg has got a bad cold and is unable to attend. Bernard doesn't feel like going although this time as an exception the witches' husbands have been invited, too. Bibi definitely wants to fly there. By chance Carla visits the Blocksbergs and hears about the celebration. A witches' celebration would make a sensational story. But Barbara says she cannot attend because strangers are not permitted. Carla, however, cajoles Bibi into casting a spell on her to make her invisible and then taking her with her. Unfortunately things don't work as planned and Carla is discovered. Fortunately the witches are clement and nobody is punished. But all the photographs that Carla has taken turn white.

To improve his skills as an instructor, Sheldon asks Penny to give him acting lessons. Meanwhile, Raj begins having impure fantasies about Bernadette. Spock to take Sheldon to the future Raj laments the fact of his single status. An admission by Bernadette totally preoccupies Raj's thoughts in his fragile state. Meanwhile, Sheldon has just conducted a guest lecture to the university's brightest doctoral candidates. He believes the lecture was an overwhelming success, but messages posted on various social networking sites show that Sheldon's perception and reality are polar opposites. A less than happy Sheldon decides to take some advice from Amy. As teaching is a performance art, she suggests that he take acting lessons. Despite or in part because he thinks she an acting failure, Sheldon asks Penny to be his teacher, his thoughts along the lines of the old adage, "those who can't do, teach". As Penny and Sheldon go through their antagonistic teacher/student relationship, Penny manages to get through to Sheldon in a way she couldn't have even imagined.

On Day 68, Sam and Amanda had to decide whether they would become one housemate. As a result, they were automatically put up for eviction this week. Kara and Brian had to battle against Big Brother 3's Alex and Adele for their task. They failed this task. They also had to put on a fashion show to win alcohol and music. The weekly podcast was conducted by Liam and Ziggy. The Big Brother house mates are facing a week of basic rations after failing their time travel task. The news was broken to the housemates by Liam, who was summoned to the Diary Room on Tuesday evening and given one final trip in the time machine to receive the news that the group had failed. Over the past few days, they have been traveling backwards and forwards in time completing a string of tasks appropriate to the years they have landed in. Ziggy, Carole, Gerry and Tracey attempted to invent electricity in the Victorian era, Brian and Kara-Louise played basketball with Alex and Adele from BB3, while Liam, Amy and the twins were transported back to prehistoric times and had to create fire and skin dead animals. However they failed four of the individual tasks, leading to a failure for the whole group. Between them, the Victorian time-travellers failed to invent electricity, Brian and Kara-Louise were beaten by Alex and Adele at footballand darts, and the prehistoric time-travellers failed on the fire task. Finally, Gerry and Jonty failed to score enough points on a history quiz Big Brother set them. With the concept of time, the tasks, secret missions and twists promise to have tension, drama and intrigue. Time may be a friend or an enemy and for some it may well run out." "Days will turn into nights, time will stop, rewind and tasks will get turned on their heads." As part of the 'Timebomb' theme, this week the contestants have been told they're fast-forwarding through time to the year 2050 for their latest shopping task, where they'll be put through a series of trials to see how well they've adapted to their new environment. In 2015, winner Brian Belo appeared as a "Time Warp" housemate in Big Brother 16 as part of "Time Warp" week. He departed on Day 43 by climbing over the wall claiming to be taunted by fellow Housemates Helen Wood and Marc O'Neill. Further, evicted Housemate Charley Uchea also made an appearance during this series as part of a shopping task on Day 37. Later on, she returned to move into "Big Brother's Hotel from Hell" on Day 49. It's the year 2050 in the BB House. Gender has become a thing of the past and everyone has to wear the same clothes and have the same rubbish hairstyle. To escape from this dystopian nightmare (and to win this week's shopping task) the housemates have to prove they have adapted to living in the future by completing a series of tasks, a lot of which involve eating various repulsive substances. To keep the housemates in line, BB has a justice dispensing assistant called Big Bot, which will be able to electronically summon housemates for tasks or to punish them. The future's bleak. Unless they pass.

Can's recurring ñShe Brings the Rainî is the film's sole constant, its smoky jazz and startlingly traditional performance by original vocalist Malcolm Mooney providing a subdued counterpoint to the psychic and cinematic cacophony.
