A United States Navy destroyer escort participates in a Navy "invisibility" experiment that inadvertently sends two sailors 40 years into the future. Reportedly based on a true incident during World War II involving an anti-radar or invisibility experiment that caused the U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Eldridge to disappear from Philadelphia Harbor. Two of the ship's sailors finds themselves thrown 40 years into the future to 1984.

In 2013, the destroyer reappears setting off a series of events threatening to destroy the world. ///// In 'The Philadelphia Experiment', a secret government research project tries reviving the World War II "Philadelphia Experiment," which was an attempt to create a cloaking device to render warships invisible. When the experiment succeeds, it brings back the original ship (the Eldridge) that disappeared during the first test in 1943 - which brings death and destruction to the 21st century. It's up to the sole survivor (Lea) of the first experiment and his granddaughter (Ullerup) to stop it.

David Herdeg's participation in a failed 1943 experiment in radar invisibility has propelled him 40 years into the future. An aberration in his genetic makeup enabled him to pass through the portal of time. It has also made him sensitive to any alteration to the time continuum. Another disasterous experiment in 1993 sends a stealth aircraft through the time portal, into 1943 Germany. Simultaneously, Herdeg is pulled into the portal, and finds himself in the terrifying 1993 that resulted from a Nazi victory in World War II.

The Phoenix and the Carpet is a fantasy novel for children, written by E. Nesbit and first published in 1904. It is the second in a trilogy of novels that begins with Five Children and It (1902), and follows the adventures of the same five children: Cyril, Anthea, Robert, Jane and the Lamb. Their mother buys the children a new carpet to replace one from the nursery that they have destroyed in an accidental fire. The children find an egg in the carpet, which hatches into a talking Phoenix. The Phoenix explains that the carpet is a magic one that will grant them three wishes a day. The five children go on many adventures, which eventually wears out their magic carpet. The adventures are continued and concluded in the third book of the trilogy, The Story of the Amulet (1906).

The 1960s, three young boys Franek, Andrzej and Jacek spend their holiday near the ruins of the Teutonic castle where archeological work is underway. Fascinated by history, they decide to explore the castle on their own. Their vehicle falls into the castle dungeons. Then, they unexpectedly travel to 1406 on the same castle where the Teutonic Knights originally lived. They boys are attacked by the Knights, but they manage to escape to the court of Prince Janusz Mazowiecki , where ither ite as a telephone or a car arouse admiration and disbelief. Pink Panther is an assistant to time travel scientist Big Nose, who's returned from ancient Egypt with a valuable cat statue. But when his dog breaks it and Pinky gets the blame, he decides to use the time machine to get the same statue. However, his use of the machine results in him going through various time periods, including prehistoric, ancient Rome, and eventually Egypt, where he's able to get the statue. After a brief stint in the future, he returns home to the present where he presents Big Nose with the statue. However, it shatters again, and Pinky finds he went to all that trouble for nothing since the scientist had several of the same statues in his cabinet.

But when Pinky leaves the book in the capsule, the craft vanishes, leaving the jet-lagged mice pondering how to take over the world yet again.
