In 1840, Julia overhears Ben Stokes reveal he told Daniel Collins that Quentin is dead. Having escaped to Collinwood in the year 1840, Julia spies on Carrie Stokes and a man named Gabriel Collins, a bitter man who's bound by wheel-chair. Gabriel later harrasses Carrie's grandfather, Ben Stokes, now an oldÊman in this time to tell Daniel Collins that Quentin is dead. Ben reluctantly does so. When he comes back to his room, Julia waits for him and tries to explain that she is a friend of Barnabas from 1970. Though Ben is confused, he hides her in the playroom where she is to stay for the night. After a few minutes of being alone in the room, Julia hears noises outside. When she steps out to investigate, hands suddenly go around her throat to strangle her EStairway to 1840, 1970 and return 1995
