Description:  Physicist Rita Proops is fired from her university job because her work (on a time machine) is too abstruse. She continues working at home, but ends up killing her none-too-bright husband in a fit of pique. After getting out of jail, it's up to her to perfect her time machine, go back in time, and stop the murder before it happens. A scientist brings her equipment home to start working on the time machine. But this causes friction at home with disastrous results.
