Description:  Gary's concert in Palmer's Green is a success and Mr. Wix books him into the Plaistow Astoria, on the same night that he and Yvonne are opening with the Willesden Wildeans. He is nervous and the doctor gives him pills to relax him. Due to an air-raid he ducks out of the Astoria gig early and makes it back to the theatre with Yvonne but has had so many pills he collapses on stage.
