While learning about Curie's discovery of atomic particles, A.J. learns Curie raised two young daughters while completing the work that made her the first person ever to win Nobel prizes in two different fields. A.J. is upset that due to his mother's busy work schedule she cannot come to his school functions. When the KYROS lands in 1905 Paris, A.J. and crew meet Marie Curie. A.J. is surprised to hear that Curie raised two young girls while working on the experiments and discoveries that would earn her Nobel prizes in two different fields.
