Description:  Hit by the blast from an air-raid whilst out with his son Michael, Gary is amazed to discover that both of them have been blown, by the blast, back into the present day and he has to concoct a story about finding an abandoned baby to appease a suspicious Yvonne, who believes him to be seeing another woman. He returns with Michael to the war and arranges for himself and Phoebe to look at a flat in the stylish West End, one of their neighbours being the composer and playwright Noel Coward, a fact which comes in handy when they are refused entry to the local air-raid shelter for being new to the area.
