Description: While researching his family's genealogy, MacGyver discovers that his family name was disgraced during the Middle Ages. He is then knocked unconscious and, not surprisingly, is transported through dreams to the time of King Arthur (a curious Pete look-alike!). Here he must confront some stubborn knights, convince Arthur that he is a friend, and set out in search of his forefathers. Knocked out by a falling piano after a visit to a dodgy genealogist, recommended by Pete, who claims to trace his ancestry back to the 7th century M'Iver clan, MacGyver dreams of arriving at king Arthur's court. His family is so hated that even its name may not be mentioned, but he soon proves himself a magician worthy of haughty Merlin's obvious jealousy. Having won Arthur's confidence, he proves that the king was poisoned by Sir Duncan and foils the fiendish table knight's attempt to set up a page and Merlin as the killer. The plot must be concocted by Arthur's sworn enemy, Scottish queen Morgana, so Merlin and Mac are sent after Duncan into her realm. Merlin leads them straight into their trap, but it proves lethal only for Duncan.
